Abstract

The article provides a detailed account of the II National Congress on Disability Law, held in Pamplona from February 6-8, 2019. Organized by CERMI Estatal, the Fundación Derecho y Discapacidad, and the Fundación Caja Navarra, the congress gathered over 150 participants to discuss legislative and jurisprudential progress in disability law, as well as challenges in implementing the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Highlights included panels on universal accessibility, labor and educational inclusion, and legal capacity reforms. The event emphasized the essential role of civil society and political consensus in safeguarding fundamental rights.
