Hace cien años, dos países, Checoslovaquia y Austria, en ese orden, programaron en sus constituciones una Corte Constitucional. Sus autores intelectuales y competencias fueron parcialmente diferentes. En 1921, Liechtenstein cambió su constitución y organizó una Corte del Estado similar a un Tribunal Constitucional. Y en 1940, Cuba diseñó en su Constitución un “Tribunal de Garantías constitucionales y Sociales”, como Sala de su Tribunal Supremo.
