This text is a review of the collective work The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. Ten years of case law, directed by Antonio López Castillo (published by Tirant Lo Blanch, 2019, 1720 pp.). It offers an exhaustive analysis of the Charter in light of the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union since its entry into force. The book is presented as a systematic and very homogeneous work that develops in a profuse and pedagogical way each of the 54 articles of the Charter, emphasizing the normative concordance and the extensive body of jurisprudence. All of this is preceded by a very illustrative introductory study written by the director. Due to its depth and usefulness, this comprehensive volume has quickly established itself as an essential working material for both legal theorists and practitioners.
