In this article, a study is conducted on the formation and development process of the "Assembly of People of Kazakhstan" as a new institution promoting international consent and characterized by interethnic tolerance in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The authors highlight the Assembly's role in Kazakhstan's domestic and foreign policy since its independence. On the one hand, the article emphasizes the sociopolitical activities of the Assembly in fostering positive trends in ethnopolitical development within the republic. On the other hand, it underscores the Assembly’s unique legal state structure as a new constitutional body in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Ultimately, the article demonstrates the positive role of this institution in Kazakhstan as a model for a multiethnic society.
